Pretty Colors
Low Light #2
I was doing some tests, taking photos in my room with different lighting settings and heres what came out. I love the art of finding the perfect balance of ISO, shutter speed, and F stop. Tomorrow I'm going downtown and will take some great photos to post to my blog. I have taken about 5500 photos with my new camera and I think i have gotten the hang of things. I now know how to use every feature on my XSi, something great; however, i understand, I have much to learn. This is a very low light photo that i touched up in photoshop. It's definitely not the most flattering photo of myself, although it was amazing how much i fixed up the lighting and colors.

Low Light, High ISO
How I go
I sport a Canon Rebel XSi, the 18-55mm lens it came with and my wonderful Canon IS 28-135mm lens. I know my equipment is not top notch but it does the job (and remember, its not the gun, its how you use it). The only thing that matters is that I (or anyone for that matter) has a deep love for photography. It's something I have done since I was around eight years old and i plan to take photos till the day I die. PS this photo is not super great quality because it was taken from my Macbook!

Intro
This is a new blog dedicated to photography. It's my second and i have learned somethings so hopefully I won't make the same mistakes. I guess i referred to my self as a shutterboy in the name because well, am no photography expert but on the other hand, i know a good deal about photography. Some of my good photos go on Flickr! and here is my stream: http://www.flickr.com/photos/olirv/
